How Glidewell Distributing enhanced and delivered its brand promise of speed, service and value to customers by moving from a manual, paper-based order selection process to voice.  This case study highlights the role that voice plays in improving order accuracy, worker productivity and reduction of training time and expense.

Session Six
Design Methodology

This session presents a proven multi-step methodology used to establish design guidelines, analyze available data, select appropriate technologies, test concepts and justify the resultant DC design. We will hear first hand how this iterative process was employed by McKesson, one of the largest global distributors of Pharmaceuticals, as they designed their next generation Distribution Center. We will review project objectives, checkpoints, measures and overall results that defined project justification.
