Mizuno

Project Background

Mizuno USA was experiencing double-digit sales growth when they determined that a new distribution center was needed to meet their business objectives. Customer requirements were also changing as key accounts (big box retailers such as Dick’s, TSA, Target, Wal-Mart) were continuing to drive sophisticated compliance requirements to make product store ready.

Peach State designed and implemented facilities to support Mizuno's double-digit sales growth.

Carter's

Project Background

Shortly after becoming a publicly-traded company, Carter’s needed more space and a more efficient operation to handle this increase in volume. A building had already been acquired in Stockbridge, GA when Carter’s partnered with Peach State to design the DC. Carter’s had several different business drivers affecting the DC design effort including a planning horizon of 2007 and high volume fluctuations due to seasonality of large cube fleece products.

Carter's engaged Peach State to help them expand their operations to handle increased volume and improve operational efficiency.
