Manufacturing
DiversiTech
Project Background
DiversiTech opened their East Park DC in 2003. Business changes and growth fueled the need to review operations and develop a strategic roadmap for its distribution operations. The management, although relatively new, made good progress and continues to push forward with operations improvement initiatives. DiversiTech partnered with Peach State to help create labor standards and identify and quantify additional improvement initiatives.
Sub Zero
Project Background
Sub Zero has built a new facility in Fitchburg, Wisconsin to manufacture their new line of Series 600 refrigerators. Part of the new facility includes a state of the art testing system to insure quality for this new line. Sub Zero asked Peach State Integrated Technologies to design and implement a turnkey material handling system to give Sub Zero maximum flexibility for their testing requirements.
Mizuno
Project Background
Mizuno USA was experiencing double-digit sales growth when they determined that a new distribution center was needed to meet their business objectives. Customer requirements were also changing as key accounts (big box retailers such as Dick’s, TSA, Target, Wal-Mart) were continuing to drive sophisticated compliance requirements to make product store ready. Furthermore, customers were demanding that order cycle times be reduced to less than 5 days from order receipt to ship.
